The Houses

A modern island, drawn in clean line and quiet colour.

A large island with twelve beaches — for the party that wants space.

Three islands held under one register — a luxury house drawn over a private archipelago.

A lagoon, a slide, a sky full of stars.

No schedules, no menus, no two days alike — held privately, house by house.

Two islands joined by a bridge — Play & Chill — drawn around a younger, livelier register.
Adults-only, sustainability-led — and home to the world's largest all-glass undersea restaurant.

The joy of living, drawn in sand and sea.

Island couture — bold strokes on a quiet lagoon.

Bright island, all hands open — seven minutes from the runway.

A natural lake and a wide lagoon — the rare premium all-inclusive in the deep south.

A short crossing from Velana — all-inclusive ease for the open week.

A house drawn in pool-water, palm, and pristine reef.

A design-led, all-inclusive house on a sandbank island in Lhaviyani.

A butterfly-shaped island held for the easy all-inclusive week.

An adults-only house held for two — rustic over-water on Raa.
One of the country's first houses — a divers' island, held quietly.
The southernmost house — a former RAF base, English gardens, and the great wrecks of Addu.
The eco-led Kaimoo house — coral propagation, glass-bottled water, a barefoot register.
A Turkish house in the deep south — hammam, Ottoman line, eight kitchens.
Pronounced "dot here" — nine villas across two private islands. The smallest house in the country.
The country's second resort, opened December 1972 — origin-story Maldives.
The first international luxury house in the country — the garden island of the Four Seasons pair.
The wellness and marine half of the Four Seasons pair — 44 acres in the Baa Biosphere.
The surf-led IHG house — Kandooma Right at the door, the family programme held.
The IHG flagship in the Maldives — Club InterContinental held across the whole island.
Three islands held under one house — the Six Senses Maldives second act.
The remote Six Senses — for many years the only resort in Laamu.
All over-water — villas drawn from the line of the Maldivian dhoni.
The only house in Thaa — surf, wellness, and the long quiet south.
Correspondence
The dry season runs November to April; January through March is at its calmest. Shoulder months (November, late April) offer excellent conditions with fewer travellers and slightly lower rates.
Resorts within forty minutes of Malé use private speedboat. Outer-atoll houses use a domestic flight plus speedboat, or a seaplane direct from Malé. Every transfer is held privately and aligned to your arrival window.
Six to twelve months ahead is unhurried. For peak season at houses like Soneva Jani or Velaa, nine to twelve months is the right pace.
Always — in writing with each house, before you arrive. Special occasions, in-villa setups and bespoke moments are confirmed the same way.
Every journey is composed individually — accommodation, transfers, the meal plan chosen for you, and the small in-villa favours. We do not work from packages.
